How do you get an Ombre hair color result?

We give a simple 1 step Ombre process below. But you do need to cut the hair first, since the correct placement of color is very important in the Ombre process

Step 1: After cutting, chose a base color, typically slightly higher in level than the customer’s current or natural color. Mix with 20 Vol. developer and apply from the roots to 4 inches out and no more.

Step 2: Choose a different color for the ends (for example, a highlight color). Mix the highlight color with 40 Vol developer and apply on the ends. The technique for applying on the ends can be as simple as a balayage technique. Do not completely saturate the ends; otherwise it will not look natural.

Step 3: Process for 30 minutes under heat. Make sure the ends get most of the heat to give them better lift and contrast compared to the roots.

Step 4: Emulsify and wash. Close the coloring process with a mild shampoo.
